Field sales has nine sales rules and each can be set three ways: free, warn or block. A rule set to block, an overdue balance for instance, stops the rep from saving the sale. That much was already there.
What is new is that the rep can now tap Request Approval on the phone. The request lands in the panel, a pending approval counter appears on the top bar, and the decision is made on the Approval Requests screen. The phone asks about its own request every few seconds; once approval comes through, the invoice and collection buttons unlock.
Transactions that pass on approval stay on the record. The Rule Violations report shows the three outcomes separately: blocked, passed with a warning, passed with approval. That way, who approved goods for which customer can still be answered afterwards.
