TEON Restoran

Restaurant and Table Order Software

From Table to Kitchen, From Kitchen to Till

TEON Restoran is a table-order program for restaurants, cafes and businesses running a delivery service. The floor plan, the waiter’s order screen on the phone, the kitchen printer, self-service and delivery orders are all built on top of TEON Ticari’s accounting modules. The ticket screen runs on a computer inside the restaurant, so service continues even if the internet drops.

Orders That Reach the Kitchen Wrong

Today

The waiter writes the order on paper and carries it to the kitchen. Handwriting is misread, a customer’s note is forgotten, the dish comes out wrong.

With TEON

The waiter enters the order on a phone, and the ticket prints on the printer tied to that dish. Notes are picked from a ready list, and important ones print inside a frame on the ticket.

A Shortfall in the Till

Today

The till does not balance at the end of the day, and no one can trace where the difference came from. Cancelled and complimentary items go unrecorded.

With TEON

Cancellations, complimentary items and waste are recorded with a reason picked from a list. A waiter without the right permission cannot cancel a line or give a discount. The Complimentary and Loss report shows where it came from, the Collections report shows how it was paid.

Splitting a Bill

Today

When a table wants to split the bill, the waiter works out who ate what on a calculator while the table waits.

With TEON

A bill splits by number of guests or item by item. The same table can be paid in cash, by card and to the customer account, all at once.

Service When the Internet Drops

Today

If the ticket program depends on the internet, orders stop the moment the connection drops and service falls back to paper.

With TEON

The ticket screen runs on the computer inside the restaurant. When the internet drops, the waiter keeps taking orders and the till keeps closing bills. Records sync to head office once the connection returns.

A Delivery Order Called In

Today

Whoever answers the phone asks for the customer’s name and address again every time and writes it on paper. No one tracks which order is on the way.

With TEON

The calling number appears on screen and the customer’s saved addresses are ready. The order is entered from the same menu and a courier is picked. Its status is tracked through Received, Preparing, On the Way and Delivered.

Sales in One Place, Accounting in Another

Today

The ticket program tracks sales. Ingredient purchases, supplier debt and cash are tracked in a different program or notebook, so the same figures get entered twice.

With TEON

Restoran is built on top of TEON Ticari. Supplier invoices, the customer account, cheques, bank and staff are in the same program. A closed ticket posts to the till and the sold item comes off stock.

Thirteen Modules, One Program

Everything above is done with the thirteen modules below. Restoran, self-service and delivery are added on top of Ticari’s ten.

Inventory

Stock cards, multiple warehouses and transfers, batch and expiry tracking, price lists, stock counts.

Contacts

Customer and supplier cards, collections and payments, statements, risk limits, ageing.

Invoicing

Purchase, sales and return invoices, line and overall discounts, invoicing from a dispatch note or an order, VAT and profit-loss report.

Dispatch

Sales, purchase and return dispatch notes, shipping from an order, a report of uninvoiced notes, e-Dispatch Note.

Orders

Sales and purchase orders, an approval step, partial fulfilment, tracking of the open quantity.

Cash

Multiple cash registers, collection and payment vouchers, transfers between cash and bank, income and expense codes.

Bank

Bank accounts, collection and payment vouchers, transfers between accounts, exchange rate entry for foreign currency transactions.

Cheques

Portfolio, endorsement, collection and bounced states; overdue and upcoming due dates.

Staff

e-Documents

e-Invoice, e-Archive, e-Dispatch and e-Ticket; the queue, delivery status and provider settings.

Restaurant

Tickets, table plan, handheld, kitchen printer, complimentary items and discounts, end of day.

Self Service

Ordering without a table, payment taken first, an order number for the customer and a list of pending orders.

Delivery

Customer and address from the incoming number, orders from the same menu, status tracking and the delivery fee.

Restaurants

Hall, terrace and garden are drawn as separate sections, and tables are placed by dragging them on screen. An occupied table always shows its bill amount.

Cafes and Self-Service

Tableless locations take orders, payment is taken first and the customer gets an order number. A ready order is closed as delivered.

Multi Branch Operations

In every branch the ticket screen runs on the computer in that branch, so service does not stop when the internet drops. Menu and prices are sent from the centre, and sales gather there.
