Barcode and Scale Sales, With Full Accounting Behind It
TEON Perakende is a fast sales screen for grocery stores, corner shops, greengrocers, butchers and nut sellers who sell by barcode or by weight. The till screen is tied to TEON Ticari’s stock, contacts, cash and bank modules, and every sale posts to those records at once.
The cashier reads the price off a label and types it in. The queue grows at busy times, and a mistyped price goes unnoticed.
Scanning the barcode brings the item and its price onto the line by itself. Scanning the same item again increases the quantity.
The weight of an item weighed on a scale gets typed into the till again, and the error rate is high.
The barcoded label the scale prints is scanned; the item and the weight come from the label and the amount is worked out. The label format is set to match the scale in use.
Sales made on credit are written in a notebook. Finding who owes how much means digging through the notebook, and some entries get missed.
Part or all of a sale is charged to the customer’s account. The debt posts to their balance immediately, and the cashier is warned if it goes over the risk limit.
When a customer pays part in cash and part by card, the payment gets recorded wrong, and the till and the bank do not match at the end of the day.
Cash, card, transfer and charging to the account are all taken on one receipt. Cash posts to the till, card and transfer post to the bank, separately. The receipt cannot be saved until the payments add up.
What is left of an item is only known by looking at the shelf or waiting for the next stock count.
A sold item leaves stock the moment the receipt is saved, and a returned item goes back in. The cashier is warned when selling an item that shows no stock.
The till program tracks sales. Supplier invoices, cheques and staff payments are tracked elsewhere, so the same figures get entered twice.
Perakende is built on top of TEON Ticari. Goods coming from a supplier enter stock through a purchase invoice and post to the supplier’s account. Cheques, bank and staff are in the same program.

Barcoded items are scanned quickly, and a split payment is taken on one receipt. Sales and returns during the day are tracked in the same list.
The label the scale prints is scanned, so weight and amount are never typed. Priced-by-unit and priced-by-weight items sit on the same receipt.
Fast counter sales and an invoice issued to a wholesale customer are done in the same program. Both sales come off the same warehouse.
All four share the same core. When you move to another product, your customer accounts and stock stay in place and only new screens are added.
