A customer being registered for e-invoice does not mean they can also receive e-dispatch notes. These are separate registrations and they are queried separately. There are plenty of companies whose e-invoice side is open while their e-dispatch side is not.
TEON retrieves both pieces of information in a single registration query and writes them onto the contact card. When a sales dispatch note is queued as an e-dispatch note, it checks the other side’s e-dispatch registration; if there is none, the document never enters the queue and the reason is recorded. Because the registry changes daily, the result of the query is refreshed at set intervals.
An e-dispatch note also requires shipment details: without the time of shipment, the plate number and the driver, the document is not sent. Purchase dispatch notes are never sent; only sales and sales return dispatch notes become e-dispatch notes.
